Lauren Graham Slashed from ‘Scream 4′

This news sucks! I was so excited about Lauren being in the movie. Blah!

First it was Lake Bell… now there’s another victim in the gruesome “Scream 4″ casting cuts.

According to my aforementioned little birdie close to the set, Lauren Graham is no longer in “Scream 4″ due to date conflict and script changes.

Please, please stop weeping.

Who would you like to see take her place as Kate, the mother of Emma Roberts’ character Jill Kessler? (As if anyone could.) Who do you think will be the next cast member to get the ax? Maybe “Scream” is going uber-meta and killing off the entire cast before the movie is barely into production.

Lauren in Scream 4??

Will Lauren be on Scream 4? I for one think it would be amazing. Two of my favorite actresses in the same movie, Lauren & Courteney Cox. But lets not get carried away here right now I see it more as a rumor but that would be amazing. Hopefully we’ll have a confirmation about this soon.

A source close to the production tells me that Lauren Graham, known to many as Lorelai Gilmore, has signed on to the film. You didn’t know I have sources? Oh but I do! (Take THAT, Ausiello!)
And that’s really all they’ve told me.

Lauren Graham, 42, has graced the cover of More magazine, a publication for women in their 40s and over.

The Parenthood star and former Gilmore Girl commented on the pressures of being a single woman: ‘What is so funny to me is I’m in a profession where two per cent of people are working, yet there’s still this implication that you’re not completely successful if you’re single and in your 40s. Well, why not? I wanted a horse when I was growing up too. Does that mean I’m not successful, because I don’t have a horse?’

Graham, who appears in the March issue to hit stands at the weekend, was not putting herself up to false expectations. ‘You learn to give yourself a break. I want to continue to celebrate where I am and not be apologetic. Whether I’m 43 or 60, I want to say, this is where I want to be in my life, because, hey, this is it. At this point I would probably meet someone who had kids or whatever, and that’s totally interesting to me.’

Introducing & Gilmore Girls movie rumour

Hello everyone, my name is Aniek and i will be helping out with posting news and images. To start: There are new rumours about a Gilmore Girls movies, which was posted on EOnline! Check the news out below.

Imagine this—a Gilmore Girls movie!

It may not be in the works right now, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen some day. In fact, Alexis Bledel, who played Rory opposite Lauren Graham on the hit drama series, says she’s kinda open to it…

“I don’t know what story is left to tell,” Bledel, now 28 told me yesterday during a chat at the Four Seasons Hotel. “But I’d very curious to read a script.” Wouldn’t Rory be a mother by now?

This just in: Helen Hunt is apparently no longer in the running to replace Maura Tierney in Parenthood. According to an insider, talks between the actress and NBC fell apart and the role of single mom Sarah has now been offered to (wait for it) Lauren Graham! I’m told the Gilmore Girls MVP recently met with Parenthood boss Jason Katims (dream team alert!) to discuss the plum part.

Can you imagine?! I can and it’s awesome!

Broadway Barks 11 — the annual adopt-a-thon created by pals Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore to find homes for pets from city animal shelters — will be held July 11 in Shubert Alley.

The day-long event, hosted by Peters and Moore and sponsored by ASPCA and Pedigree, is scheduled for 3:30-6:30 PM. Peters will autograph copies of her best-selling tome, also called “Broadway Barks,” at 1 PM.

The celebrity presentations of pets from citywide animal shelters will begin at 5:30 PM. Celebrity participants include Elizabeth Ashley, Jayne Atkinson, Bill Berloni, Stephanie J. Block, Matt Cavenaugh, Michael Cerveris, Gavin Creel, Hope Davis, Christine Ebersole, Rupert Everett, Tovah Feldshuh, Sutton Foster, John Glover, Lauren Graham, Kate Jennings Grant, Zach Grenier, Haydn Gwynne, Marcia Gay Harden, Dee Hoty, Allison Janney, Gregory Jbara, Carol Kane, Andy Karl, Marc Kudisch, Angela Lansbury, Constantine Maroulis, Michael Mastro, Audra McDonald, Judy McLane, Becki Newton, Michael O’Keefe, Karen Olivo, David Hyde Pierce, Alice Ripley, Bryce Ryness, Christopher Sieber, J. Robert Spencer, John Tartaglia, Michael Urie and Chandler Williams.

“According to recent statistics, we learned that we are making a difference,” said Mary Tyler Moore in a recent statement. “In 2002, the rate of euthanasia among shelter animals was at 74% of total intake. We are proud that as a result of our efforts, in 2008, the number of animals killed in NYC shelters has dropped to 39% of total intake. That means nearly 15,000 fewer animals have been euthanized in our city’s shelters compared to 2003.”

Bernadette Peters, who adopted her dogs, Kramer and Stella, from the ASPCA and the AC&C added, “We’re doing our part to make New York City a more humane place for animals. Through our collaborative efforts, of which Broadway Barks is a part, we’re moving steadily toward our goal of ensuring that every healthy and treatable dog and cat in New York City has a home.”

Proceeds from the auction and other donations received during the day will benefit the shelters and organizations attending Broadway Barks 11.

Shubert Alley is located in Manhattan between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue.

Lauren in Scrubs?

“Scrubs,” will indeed return to ABC next winter but it won’t be the same at all. The show is getting a new plot, a new studio and even a new name.

The show’s executive producer Bill Lawrence let it spill last week that when the sitcom comes back, it’ll no longer take place in the hospital, but in a medical school with professors Cox (John C. McGinley) and Turk (Donald Faison) leading a group of new students.

Lawrence promised that the hospital we’ve all grown to love, Sacred Heart, won’t disappear completely though. Dr. Cox and Dr. Turk’s students will end up seeing several familiar faces while doing rotations there every now and then. Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Judy Reyes (Carla) and Ken Jenkins (Dr. Kelso) have signed on to appear as guest stars throughout the season. This comes as exciting news for fans who thought they’d seen the last of Braff’s J.D.

The med students will be comprised of all new actors for the series, though casting has yet to begin. Lawrence mentioned that ABC would like at least one of the new hires to be a big name, some are kicking around “Gilmore Girls”‘ Lauren Graham’s as being on top of the show’s wish list.

As for last season’s newbies, Eliza Coupe, Betsy Beutler, Sonal Shah and Todd Bosley, the interns who were once rumored to be “Scrubs” future, Coupe will most likely be the only one welcomed back. Neil Flynn (The Janitor) and Christa Miller (Jordan) have both landed series regular roles on new sitcoms so it is unlikely they will return, though Christa’s new gig is Lawrence’s other show, “Cougar Town.”

“Scrubs” was filmed in an abandoned hospital in the valley but the revamped version of the series is also getting a new set on a studio lot in Culver City.

When the show comes back it will mostly have a new name too that may include the word scrubs but will also distinguish it as its own entity.
